Stand-up comedy w/ Anshita Koul

Little Too Much is an English comedy solo stand-up show by comedian Anshita Koul.

The show takes you on a roller coaster ride that is Anshita’s life, engaging the audience with stories about why she switched careers from software engineering to hardware comedy, why she thinks marriage is a pyramid scheme, why she misses her cat callers back home, why she despises the public enemy number one question 'How are you?' and what happened when she came out to her friends and family as a woman with opinions on Indian Reality TV shows, amongst other topics, trivial and political.

36, Indian, Queer, Married, does not want a child and is a standup comedian by profession– Anshita is a poster child for everything Patriarchy hates, but don’t worry kids, she hates it back way more. Anshita has taken the show and parts of it to 20+ cities across Europe and UK, including Edinburgh Fringe, Tallinn Fringe and the backyard of a rich Flemish man.

About Anshita Koul

Currently based in Berlin she's a full time standup comedian with a part-time job. She is the co-founder of Clit Comedy Club and Festrogen Comedy Festival in Luxembourg. She made it to the ‘One to Watch’ list at Funny Women Stage Awards 2021 and is also a finalist at Funny Women Stage Awards 2022. https://funnywomen.com/awards/lists/halloffame/

Anshita made her debut in the standup world from the Indian reality TV show Queens of Comedy, which was also available on Netflix from 2017-2019 and was later taken down, for which she is eternally grateful because no comedian wants their first time on stage aired on Netflix. She is the co-founder of Clit Comedy Club and one of the founders and organisers of Festrogen, the first ever women-centric comedy festival in Luxembourg that ended on a high note and a mention in the press.

You can read more about her at www.anshitakoul.com, but Instagram is where she can be really found.
